I mailed my dossier on Tuesday and my placement agency received it yesterday. Yippee! I hope that it's smooth sailing from here on out.
Now, one of the girls at the agency is going to review all of the paperwork to make sure everything is in order and then it'll be on its way to Eastern Europe. The next thing for me is to just sit and wait (anxiously) for my dossier to land in country and then be approved by the Prime Minister. Once that happens, the agency will let me know when I can schedule my first trip out there! On the first trip, I will get to accept Zola's referral and meet her for the first time. I will only be in-country for about a week before returning home.
I recently saw this quote on Facebook and it speaks to me. I'm not there yet but oh, am I so much closer than I was yesterday!
If you've supported me so far, thank you. Your support means a ton to me! Zola will be here before we know it.
Also, please don't forget about the great cookbooks I have available! The "Recipes to the Rescue" cookbook contains over 100 recipes from around the world. A list of recipes is shown in a previous blog entry (here). Each cookbook is just $12, including shipping! To purchase your copy, simply donate to my FSP (here) and then e-mail a copy of your receipt to this e-mail. These cookbooks make great birthday gifts and Mother's Day gifts!
